First thing: We need to learn more about Wurk's style guidelines and visual philosophy in a best effort find a creative solution that ties into what Wurk is already doing to present itself to the world. With this, we can consider stylistic approaches with everything from interview lighting, sound design, etc. For the overall look and feel, I would suggest a more cinematic look, rather than a typical corporate video. Perhaps making use of the brighter graphic tones we see on the landing page of your website? Something sophisticated, edgy, playful and accessible.
One thing we discussed, Charlie, was impactful sound design. Because you mentioned it, I know this is important. Perhaps snappy montages paired with quippy sound experiences.
Ultimately, we want a video that will get potential clients psyched about what Wurk can do for their business, while establishing Wurk as a forward thinking industry leader.
HERE are some video stills from various projects. My goal is to make every video that passes through our fingers as distinct as possible.
THESE videos for Arapahoe Library are certainly more traditional, but we can knock out the filming in 1-1.5 days. The client uses these to bolster internal staff pride and share within the larger community, personal stories with universal accessibility.
THIS is Nate's last personal project, a mind blowing documentary so viscerally delicious and audibly succulent...
